This is a natural pairing as we used a touch of the Sauvignon Blanc in the recipe! Tasting the wine – we noticed the tropical fruits of the Sauvignon Blanc, but with a bite of the galette and tastingthe wine again, we noticed that the citrus components of the wine shone through the savoriness of the dish. The acid of the wineis a welcome guest in this pairing as it cuts the richness,making the whole dish more refreshing and keeping you going back for another bite.
The saying “what grows together goes together”is well displayed with the Walla Walla Sweet Onions showing off the minerality of the Sauvignon Blanc.
